Hope and Healing

Prayer request: To become the woman God ordained you to be. just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will - Ephesians 1:4-5

Prayer Request: to Become the Woman God Created You to Be

Recently, we received a prayer request from someone seeking freedom from feelings of rejection and negativity. Along with this desire for healing, there was a heartfelt longing to become the person God created her to be and to walk fully in His purpose for her life.

Many people struggle with feelings of rejection, self-doubt, and negative thoughts. These burdens can affect how we see ourselves and can make it difficult to fully embrace our identity in Christ. Yet God’s Word reminds us that we are chosen, loved, and created for a purpose.

Below is a prayer for healing, freedom, and a deeper understanding of who we are in Christ.

Prayer to Become the Woman God Created You to Be

Abba Father,

We come before You with thanksgiving and praise (Psalm 100:4). We lift up Your daughter, into Your loving hands.

Lord, You have called her by name; she belongs to You (Isaiah 43:1). Your Word says that we did not choose You, but You chose us (John 15:16), and today we thank You that You have chosen Sandra for such a time as this (Esther 4:14).

Father, we thank You that she is Your daughter, a child of the Most High King (Romans 8:15-16). We ask that You reveal her true identity in Christ, deeply and clearly. Let her know, without doubt, that You are with her every step of the way (Joshua 1:9).

Holy Spirit, we ask that You make Your voice known to her. Teach her to recognise Your leading, for Your sheep hear Your voice (John 10:27). Guide her, protect her, and direct her path (Proverbs 3:5-6). Make her paths straight and align her with the right people, those who will walk with her into the purpose You have prepared for her (Jeremiah 29:11).

Lord, let her life be a light set on a hill, that others may see You through her (Matthew 5:14).

Father, we also come against every lie of the enemy. Where she has experienced rejection, remind her that she is chosen, loved, and accepted in You (Ephesians 1:4-5). Even when the world rejects her, Your Word says You will never leave her nor forsake her (Hebrews 13:5).

Your Word tells us that we may face persecution (John 15:18-20), but we thank You that our identity is not found in the world, but in You.

In the name of Jesus, we bind every negative word spoken over her. We declare them null and void. They will not take root in her life (Isaiah 54:17). We ask that You renew her mind daily (Romans 12:2), and continually reveal more of who You are and who she is in You.

Father, teach her to come to You in honesty and surrender. You are close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). When life feels heavy, remind her that she can pour out her heart before You (Psalm 62:8). You are her Comforter (John 14:26).

Holy Spirit, bring to remembrance anything she needs to lay down before You. Lead her in repentance where needed, so that she may walk in freedom. For whom the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8:36).

Lord, we thank You that You see her. You see every hurt, every rejection, every moment and You care deeply (1 Peter 5:7). Teach her to forgive those who have hurt her, just as You have forgiven us (Colossians 3:13).

We trust You with her life, her journey, and her purpose.

In Jesus’ mighty name,
Amen.
