Recently, we received a prayer request from a mother asking for prayer for her daughter. Her heart’s desire is to see her daughter set free from substance use and restored to a close relationship with Jesus Christ.
Many families carry the burden of watching a loved one struggle with addiction, feeling helpless as they pray and wait for breakthrough. Yet Scripture reminds us that nothing is impossible for God and that His love continually pursues those who have wandered from Him.
Below is a prayer for freedom from addiction, restoration, and a renewed relationship with Christ.
If you are facing a situation in your life and would like prayer, you are welcome to reach out to us through the Hope and Healing website. You can submit a prayer request using our contact form or by sending an email to prayers@hopeandhealing.co.za.
Every prayer request we receive is read, and we do respond to each message with prayer and encouragement.
From time to time, we may also share a generalised version of a prayer request (with all personal details removed) so that others who may be facing similar situations can also find comfort, encouragement, and words to guide their own prayers.
You are not alone.
